Welcome to the Elfde Gebod!
The Eleventh Commandment (Het Elfde Gebod) is a unique restaurant-café in the old town of Antwerp, Belgium. It has a spectacular interior decked with angels, saints, pulpits and several deliciously sacrilegious visual jokes. We serve local Belgian cuisine and a big variety of famous beers. Beers include the local Koninck, Trappiste Westmalle dubbel, St. Bernardus Abt 12 and much more.
The restaurant-café is located next to the The famous Cathedral of our Lady (Onze-Lieve-Vrouwekathedraal). The ancient religious statues are in style with the Kathedral right across the street and the place has a long history. It is a must-see place when visiting Antwerp and it is mentioned in many tourist guides. It is the place everyone remembers form Antwerp.
