About this restaurant
Welcome to 't Brigandje Restaurant 't Brigandje has been a fixture for lovers of grilling and other specialties since 1986. Many customers who have been there since Tex and Ria started, are still regulars in our restaurant. After Tex and Ria, Mirko and Nathalka were there to continue the traditions. We too, Veerle (hostess), Michiel (host/grill), and our children Mette-Marit and Mattijn, want to ensure that 't Brigandje is and remains a "home" for the many loyal customers who come to 't Brigandje for the (h)honest cuisine, the conviviality and the unique character of our square farm. Of course, as true-blooded Maldegem and Kleiten people, we also hope to welcome many familiar faces from the neighbourhood to (re)discover 't Brigandje. The familiar concept: delicious meat and fish dishes and certainly our large ribs on the grill, some dishes from the kitchen, a nice beer or wine to go with it and the famous Irish Coffees or desserts to finish, that remains! Furthermore, we are proud of our team! Our permanent staff Ulriche and Dany but also the many other enthusiastic waiters and kitchen staff ensure that you are always at your beck and call. We always strive for excellent service and proper cooking times. Our restaurant should also be or become a popular place for children. Therefore, from now on we will provide a kids menu and an expanded selection of children's dishes. In addition to the fixed menu, we would like to respond to the seasons and also use regional products. Usually this will be in the form of suggestions. For smokers, we will eventually provide a heated corner in our courtyard. And by the summer our front terrace will also be renewed. With the exception of some dishes, everything is prepared on our wood grill. In the weekend there is a 2nd grill used outside. These grills have a maximum capacity. In order to guarantee the quality of the dishes and your chosen method of cooking and/or seasoning, we count on you to understand that there may sometimes be a wait. While waiting you can enjoy an aperitif, one of our gin tonics, a glass of fine wine or a beer. For larger groups, if you book in advance, our annexe room/bar can be used to host private parties. We also provide menus and reception formulas that can be modified according to your wishes/budget. For this, it is best to make an appointment where we can discuss the possibilities together. Some of our dishes can also be collected at take away prices. Ask our waiters about it. We hope that your visit to our restaurant will be a moment of culinary delight and we are very curious about your experience. Gereserveerd voor 6 personen en we kregen slech...

Gereserveerd voor 6 personen en we kregen slechts 1 portie frietjes. Toen de frietjes op waren duurde het zeker 5 min tegen dat we naar iemand teken konden doen om bijkomende frietjes te vragen. Dan nog eens een minuut of 7 moeten wachten op de bijkomende frietjes. Ondertussen eet men verder en heeft men gedaan met eten tegen dat jullie de frietjes brengen. Hadden we ons over 3 aparte tafels verdeeld hadden we waarschijnlijk toen wel meteen 3 porties frieten gekregen. 3 x cote a los bleu besteld waarvan 1 saignant en en bien cuit gekregen. Uit beleefdheid enkel gezegd bij het afrekenen aan de dame waaraan ik rond € 435 heb betaald. Eigenlijk op haar vraag of we tevreden waren. Die dame gaf toe dat er iets was mis gelopen met de cote a los en heeft haar excuses aangeboden. Zuur geld indien je niet tevreden bent. Een doorsnee werkmens moet daar 40 uur arbeid voor verrichten. mvg. Frank Loosveldt
